it is noteworthy to state that Feedback and User research are sine qua non that ought to be observed during design process, the latter lays the basis for researcher to get response from users and stakeholder this data gathered from users helps to solve real life problem. To what extent do you have an understanding of feedback in design? in this article, we would be dissecting every bit of what feedback entails and how it helps to improve our designs.

**What is Feedback?

According to Meriam Webster dictionary, defined feedback as transmission of evaluative or corrective information about an action, event, or process to the original or controlling sources. feedback is the control room for every successful design, it positions designers to have a clearer picture on how target audience problems could be solved. Most times, feedback are gathered during Pre and after the launch of a product, during the early stage of design process, designer get firsthand information before laying pixel on any software.

One of the unique features of feedback in design is that it allows the researcher to read through the mood of a participant in order ascertain the participant view and emotions as regards the project, this is mostly common in physical interview session. For every research conducted, the bottom line is to address users' problem by gathering data from potential users, (User centric) below are some of the useful tips that helps in filtering feedback.

(I) Communicate your design at the early stage: communication assist designers to get useful information at the early stage of design, without having to wait at final stage before it becomes bulky and tedious to iterate on the design.

After collecting feedback from users, it is necessary to filter this feedback to ensure it aligns with the goals you need them to solve. often times, we might receive subjective or condescending feedback, in order for both parties to communicate better, the following format should be observed.

Make sure the button is dark (Wrong)

Why don't we try the black button (Correct)

I don't like this navigation button (Wrong)

How might we revise the layout of this button (Correct)

Note: These example does not only issue the right words, but it connects the feedback back to the objectives, we are trying to figure out.

Conclusion: One cannot design an application if it doesn't consider gathering relevant feedback that can ace our work. we clearly do not have to wait for the final stage before we place user at the center of our designs, it is worthy to prioritize feedback in order to enhance quality design.
